Open Enrollment: Oct. 29 – Nov. 9

As a University System of Georgia (USG) employee, you have numerous benefit options available to you. Open Enrollment is an annual opportunity for you to review current benefit elections and determine whether adjustments are needed. In 2019, USG and Georgia Tech continue to offer a comprehensive benefits package to employees.

Special attention: You will be charged a tobacco surcharge unless action is taken.

During the 2019 open enrollment period, you must certify your status as a tobacco user or non-user, as well as the status of any dependents (age 18+) enrolled in your University System of Georgia (USG) healthcare plan. Effective Jan. 1, 2019, employees enrolled in the USG healthcare plans and their covered dependents (age 18+) will be charged a $75 per tobacco user per month surcharge for using tobacco products. No refunds will be given.
